Drummer

My start

I started drumming when I was around 10 years old and joined my school's music program in 6th grade. I joined the marching and concert bands while also playing in a metal garage band throughout highschool. After a brief detour in college, it was clear to me that I had a strong passion for music.

During my college days, I began playing drums with Derrick Streibig and Pat Ritter in their Wicker Park, Chicago apartment. We spent countless hours jamming together and eventually recorded a 3-song demo at Bombshelter Studios in Chicago. As Derrick's songwriting skills continued to evolve, we decided to drop out of college and move back to St. Louis.

And then

Soon after, we formed The Polebridge Electric Company with Danny Freund. After recording a debut album, we spent the summer and winter of 2007 playing shows in the Pacific Northwest and Mountain regions, and although the band eventually disbanded, my musical journey continued. I continued to record with Danny Freund.

Next up

While back in St. Louis, I joined a group called "Buz", an electronica act that had existed as a solo project started by Jake Elking. We played many shows and recorded 2 albums together including opening for a sold out show at The Pageant in St. Louis, MO.

Getting serious

In 2010, Derrick, Pat, and I reunited to form We Are Warm. We recorded our 'New Days LP' in Crestwood, MO, and played shows at iconic venues like the Pageant, Delmar Hall, Duck Room, and the Firebird.

In 2016, Derrick and I flew to Los Angeles to spend time with Scott Hackwith to produce our EP "Chinatown", available on Spotify.

For fun

I continue to play drums in my free time and open to recording and live projects. Below are a few drum covers.
